At Sylvester Community Church, the elders give oversight and direction to the church.They meet monthly to prayerfully consider church direction, policy and discipline.

One of their particular joys is praying for the church as a whole and individual members of the congregation. If you would like the elders to pray with you in person they are available after each service or you are welcome to join them at a designated time every month, during a specific hour of prayer where they can pray with you. You are welcome to come unannounced, but it is helpful if you contact them in advance to be put on their schedule. Contact Cindy Havens at office@sylvestercommunitychurch.com. If you have a prayer request, but do not need prayer in person, you can email Cindy with your prayer need and it will be posted on the prayer chain. If you prefer the elders or pastor privately pray please let her know that.
